Global Design Project 181

Welcome everyone.  So sorry I missed you last week.  I had a project all prepared and just could not find the time to get it posted.  But such is life in the big city. lol

This week is a color challenge.  This is a  pretty combination of soft spring colors suitable for many projects.  As you know Sale-a-bration will be coming to an end on March 31 and I wanted to use a stamp set that I have not worked with yet.  The All Adorned set is a fun set with images great for building patterns.  Of course that is what I did.

I used lemon line twist with a yellow mat for the base.  A vellum layer is embossed with the Tin Tile embossing folder.  I felt the pattern paired well with the pattern in the stamp set.  The Grapefruit Grove foil paper adds a touch of elegance.

The ribbon is from the Sale-a-bration ribbon pack that unfortunately is sold out a 2nd time.  Good things don't seem to last.  But there are plenty of other beautiful ribbons that would work in the Annual & Occasion's catalogs.

The pearl accents are found in the Share What You Love Artisan Pearl pack in the annual catalog.  I have used these on several projects with a variety of colors.  There versatility is wonderful. The card front is layered on a A2 thick Whisper White card base.

I kept the inside of the card and the envelope very basic with one focal image off the corner of the page/envelope.  This is also the perfect project to use your Stamparatus.  It makes lining these images up very easy.  Do it once and your done.

I hope you have enjoyed the card this week.  I really enjoyed the challenge of putting all the colors and patterns together.

Just a reminder, 7 days left to get your free Sale-a-bration items.  Stampin Up added several things from the annual catalog to the list of free items.  Check it out by clicking the link to my online store in the right side bar.

Please leave a comment or contact me if you need anything.
