The Rainbow Card Challenge

Hello everyone,  I am very excited to have been asked by Sandy Allnock to participate in this blog hop for The Rainbow Card Challenge.  If you are not familiar with this, it was started by Dawn Woleslagle from Wplus9.  She created a card with a rainbow of colors and challenged 2 of her friends to do the same.  Those 2 friends challenged 2 of their friends and, you get the idea.
My card was inspired by the copic coloring class I am currently taking over at Sandy's blog called Copic Jumpstart.  If you are interested in learning about copic coloring from one of the best, you should check it out.

I absolutely love bright, bold colors and these little monster images are adorable.

Of course you can't do cute monsters with out googly eyes.  I have to say the blue one is my favorite.  Maybe because blue is my fave color or maybe because of the eyelashes.  Either way you have to love it.

To keep this party going I am to going to tag 2 of my favorite people. Lydia Fiedler at Understand Blue and Lindsay Weirich, The Frugal Crafter.  Be sure to check out their blogs I linked here. I know they will both create amazing projects.

Below is a list of the supplies I used for my card:

Cardstock: Stamper's select white - Papertrey Ink
                   Basic black - Stampin Up
Pattern paper: Rainbow stripes - MFTStamps
Stamps: Monster Mash - Lawn Fawn
Die cut: Ring Frame - Simon Says Stamp
Embossing Powder: Ultrafine white - Hero Arts
MISTI: Standard size - My Sweet Petunia
Copics: Sketch - v12, v15, v17
                            r14, r37, r89
                            b21, b24, b29
                            y00, y04, y08
                            yr12, yr16, yr18
                            g03, g05, g09, g28
                            c1, c3, c4, c5, c7

  14. Jacqueline, What a fun rainbow card! And, how exciting that you are taking Sandy's class. You're absolutely right about learning from the best. (Oh, you asked if I knew my post was dated 2017. Thanks for pointing that out, but the answer is actually yes. It's the only way I know of pinning it to the top of my blog. There's probably a better way, but this is the one I know. LOL)
