Global Design Project 175

Happy Sunday to everyone.  It's about time  to get in gear for the week ahead.  Unfortunately I have been  a little under the weather this weekend and still don't feel like there is an end in sight.  A thought I would get my card up for you while I have a little energy boost.

The Global Design Project this week is a theme, Down the Garden Path.  I love flowers so I decided to use one of the sets in our Occasions catalog Wonderful Romance.  The suite has some fantastic dies that coordinate so nicely with the stamp set.

For coloring I used my Stampin Blends in colors of Lovely Lipstick, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.  These are a high quality alcohol makers that are affordably priced. Of course the colors match perfectly with all of the other Stampin Up products.

The beautiful lovely lipstick foil background is a Sale-a-bration product.   If you don't have the foil Paper you could use the lovely Lipstick card stock and it would look just as beautiful.  I really like the unique border die with the framelits set.  I could be very versatile.  The ribbon is the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon in Whisper White.  It adds a playful touch.

I used another piece of the foil paper to  make a liner for the envelope. That always says fancy.  Decorating the inside of the card and the envelope just adds more enjoyment for the recipient.

I hope you are inspired by this project or any of the projects from those that participated in the challenge this week. To view the other entry's just click on the Global Design Project link at the top of the page.  If you are interested in any of the products, click the catalog links in the side bar to be taken to my online store.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, thoughts, ideas or just to say hi.  I would love it if you would leave a comment below. Until next time.  Happy Crafting. Jacqueline.
