Global Design Project #176 CASE the Designer

First I wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone who is visiting my blog.  As I am sure you can see I am just starting this journey and things are pretty basic.  I am learning new things everyday so I am exciting to make changes when I can.  I appreciate your support and welcome any feedback you may have.

Today I have a fun card to show you for the Global Design Project.  This week we are going to CASE the Designer.  Our inspiration card is beautiful. Be sure to head over to the GDP blog to read all about the card and see the other creations.

What do you do when you CASE a project.  Well, I have heard a couple different slogans.  The most common one I see is 'Copy and Share Everything.  But the GDP blog uses 'Copy and Selective Edit'.  Either way the concept is the same.  Use a project to give you inspiration to make a creation of your own.  You can take inspiration from the stamp set, the colors, the layout and even the sentiment.

I took the rainbow colors as my inspiration and created this fun bright birthday card.  I used two stamp sets.  the Focal image is from the set 'More Than Words'.  This set will be available only March 1-31, while supplies last.  Be sure to check back later in the month to hear all the scoop on this and the other items that will be available during this limited time.

The other set is 'Amazing Life' offered in the Occasions Catalog. I used the fun step down technique with the Stamparatus and embossed the Wishes using the 2018-2020 In Color embossing powders.  They come in a set of all 5 colors.  They make the perfect rainbow of bright colors. The enamel embellishments are the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots also in the Occasions Catalog as part of the Happiness Blooms suite.

Of course the card would not be complete without the inside made pretty also.  And last but not least, don't forget to have your envelope make a splash.  This is the Happiness Blooms DSP and it contains all those fun colors.

Sale-a-bration Update
Did you know that Stampin Up release 3 additional SAB items on February 15.  They include a stamp set, an embossing folder and a stamp set and DSP bundle.  Be sure to click the link in the side bar to see all the great items available for free.  Please contact me if you need any assistance.

Enjoy your week and I hope to see you back in a few days.
Happy Crafting. Jacqueline

  1. This is a beautiful card. Good luck on your Blogging journey. I started my Blog, last year. I don't have too many followers, but find I love using it as a way to look back at my growth. Keep it up. You will be glad you did.
